But every now and then she gets carried away.
So let me tell you of a time that I recall

There were matzoh balls in the bedroom there were matzoh balls in the hall
There were matzoh balls in the living room stacked up against the wall.
There were matzoh balls in the front yard and in the backyard too.
There were so many matzoh balls I didn’t know what to do.

There were matzoh balls in blender and in the vacuum cleaner to.
There were matzoh balls in the microwave, there were matzoh balls in my shoes.
There were matzoh balls on the table and on each and every chair
There were matzoh balls in the kitchen sink there were matzoh balls everywhere…

Well, most of them were average size and some were really small.
And here and there I saw a few as big as a bowling ball.
Some were light as feathers. Others hard as rocks.
And one of them rolled out the door and bounced for fifty blocks.

Well, we ate up all those matzoh balls, it took us half a week.
Our tummies were so full, that we could barely speak.
The next day I came home from school without a care at all
To find my Momma made another million matzoh balls.
