Well, Achashveros was the King.
He said, “Queen Vashti, will you sing?”
When she said, “No”, the King he said,
“I think that woman’s lost her head”. Well,
Haman, Haman, Hey Man!
You know he had an evil plan.
A plan to persecute the Jews.
It was a plan that was bound to lose.
Haman, Haman, Hey Man!
Well, then the King was all alone.
He wanted a Queen to call his own.
And so he searched until he found.
The most beautiful girl around.
Her name was Esther and it’s true,
She was a beauty through and through.
The prettiest girl you’ve ever seen.
The next day she became the Queen. Well,
Haman, Haman, Hey Man!...
Well, Esther’s Uncle, Mordechai,
He was a very righteous guy.
You should have seen how mad he got
When he discovered Haman’s plot.
Well, he told Esther everything.
And then Queen Esther told the King.
The King he promised that he would
Make sure that Haman was punished for good. Well,
Haman, Haman, Hey Man!...
And so, we celebrate, hooray!
Because Queen Esther saved the day.
And it’s a lesson to us all.
That good will win and evil will fall. Well,
Haman, Haman, Hey Man!
You know he had an evil plan.
A plan to persecute the Jews.
It was a plan that was bound to lose.
Haman, Haman, Hey Man!
